Riverwood House is a family run Bed and Breakfast, located just outside the
picturesque village of Adare , which is renowned for its tourism.
Riverwood
House has it all - with lands that were once part of the Adare Manor Estate,
we provide woodland walks outside our door.
Riverwood House which sits on 200 acres of land, is surrounded by 40 acres of
woodland. A mile of river runs through the land, and borders the well known
Adare Manor Championship golf course.
 This river provides excellent
private
fishing
facilities for the enthusiast or for a few hours of
relaxation. Fishing rods are available on request.
Adare {translated from the Irish "Ath Dara", meaning the Ford of the Oaks},has become famous for its traditional thatch cottages, historical buildings and as an ideal holiday location.
"CEAD MILE FAILTE" - an old Irish saying for "A THOUSAND WELCOMES" - is what
awaits you from myself(Christina) and my family. We aim to make your stay
an enjoyable one.
